Takeshi grew up in a suburb of Toronto and thinks the boonies aren’t all bad, although he’d prefer not to live in one any time soon. At the moment, he lives in Tokyo so he is quite satisfied.
He has been drawing comics as a profession since 2003 and his work credits include Sidekicks through Oni Press, short strips for NYLON and SPIN Magazine, and numerous titles for Marvel Comics. He is currently producing a monthly Lost Planet comic through Capcom and Ascii Media Works. He has also been involved with storyboarding for games and design work for film.
